Game two of Richter City Roller Derby’s sophomore season shakes Wellington on Saturday 4th September with The Rubble Rouser at the TSB Bank Arena, Queens Wharf
Doors open 6pm, bout starts at 7pm. Arrive early to get the best seats!
The first bout of the season, Stop Drop and Roll attracted a huge number of fans, so book now to ensure you don’t miss out.
Brutal Pageant narrowly edged out Smash Malice to take the season opener 125-103 in nail bitingly close bout, with each team taking and then losing the lead several times before the final whistle. Smash Malice will be out to even the score to give them a chance at taking the three game season.

Stop Drop and Roll: 24 July 2010

On the 24th of July 2010, Richter City made New Zealand roller derby history with a record breaking crowd of around 2500 screaming fans in attendance at the season opener, STOP DROP AND ROLL at the TSB Arena in Wellington.
The amazing crowd witnessed a nail bitingly close bout between last season’s champions, Smash Malice and underdogs Brutal Pageant.
With the half time score at 64-54 to Brutal Pageant it was anyone’s game, and Pageant managed to recover from losing the lead half way through the second half to bring home the win, with a final score of 125-103.
With 13 of 26 skaters playing their debut bout, the game was an impressive start to the three game season.
